Hosted at Växhuset, Västerås, the event brought together nearly 180+ participants, along with families and well-wishers, transforming the venue into a lively Tamil village festival filled with tradition, music, and togetherness.

The day began with registration and refreshments, followed by a formal inauguration ceremony that introduced the 2025 Office Bearers of Tamil Sangam Västerås. As part of the celebrations, Pongal, the traditional Tamil harvest festival, was joyfully observed. The festival atmosphere reflected the true spirit of Pongal—gratitude, prosperity, and togetherness—bringing families closer and reminding everyone of the warmth of village celebrations back home.

Traditional décor, cultural performances, food sharing, and joyful interactions made the Pongal celebration especially meaningful for all attendees.
